Pamela Monsastra
Strategic & Crisis Communications
Pamela Monastra is the Founder and Managing Principal of Next Step Strategic Consulting, advising clients on community engagement, strategic communications, crisis management, and business growth. With three decades of experience in high-stakes environments, she collaborates with developers, executives, and project teams across the real estate and A/E/C industries.
Pamela advances complex initiatives where business and government intersect. Leading enterprise-wide communications for the U.S. building operations of a global contractor, she partnered closely with local officials, business owners, residents, and the media on numerous small and large-scale projects. She also led engagement efforts on multibillion-dollar P3 infrastructure programs. She has since expanded the regional presence of a top general contractor, strengthening the firm’s position across the real estate, healthcare, and higher education sectors.
Early in her career, Pamela developed and executed the State of Georgia's crisis and media response plan for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and held communications roles across various state agencies.
Pamela serves on several boards focused on public impact and civic improvement, and was recently recognized as a "ChangeMaker" by the Urban Land Institute's Atlanta Women's Leadership Initiative.
