Malaika’s clients include professional sports teams, developers, property owners, and governments. Notable projects include Centennial Yards, Miami Freedom Park, Trilith, and The Battery Atlanta. With experience spanning real estate development, urban planning, and government, she brings a unique, cross-sector perspective, turning complex development challenges into clear, actionable strategies.

A recognized authority on special assessment districts, Malaika helps savvy developers strategically structure and leverage them to meet goals. She is the foremost expert on Community Improvement Districts (CIDs), advising clients on the formation and implementation of these powerful infrastructure and placemaking tools.
